The hardware is very simple: An NXP LPC11u24 Cortex-M0 microcontroller is used for processing and interfacing with the PC. For reading the thermocouple a Maxim MAX31855 sensor interface for K-type thermocouples was chosen.
There is also a relay control signal output for switching on and off an external relay connected to the oven.
